I purchased two of the Gold Round Gold Metal Jonas Accent Tables during the 40% off furniture sale. No need to beat around the bush, I LOVE THIS TABLE.
The main feature that I love about the table is the weight. It is a solid table. I could have bought a similar table from Ross Dress for Less or Burlington Coat Factory, however, the weight of the table would be inferior. I really wanted a table the wouldn’t move or rock if I brushed against it.
The only bad things about the table is that it collects dust and smudges. I just wipe them down with a diluted cleaning solution.
I found a several random pictures of green living rooms I love.
I’m on the hunt for the perfect fake built-ins. I spotted these at IKEA.
I forgot to take before pictures. I purchased the Swanage Console Table from Wayfair. The table arrived quickly. I wasn’t quite what I wanted; therefore, I had to do some upgrades.

I am new to the world of avocado toast. OMG Where has it been my entire life. It’s easy and quick.
5 minutes or less
- 2 sliced of Multigrain Bread (you want to avoid thin soft bread)
- 1 small Avocado
- Himalayan Salt
- Trader Joe’s EveryDay Seasoning or Substitute for your favorite seasoning. Anything except Seasoned Salt
- Red Chili Flakes (They make all the difference in the world)
- Cut a ripe avocado in half.
- Remove the seed.
- Scoop the flesh into a bowl. (The green stuff inside of the skin)
- Add 1/2 of the seasoning.
- Mash the flesh of the avocado. The flesh should not be completely smooth.
- Add remainder of the seasonings. Season to taste.
- Toast the bread in a toaster or broiler. I don’t have a toaster; therefore, I used my broiler.
- Spread the avocado on the toast.
- Sprinkle Red Chili Flakes to your liking.
Take a bite. Enjoy
I saw these kitchen towels on IG and knew I needed them.
If you don’t know I purchased a new home in late October of 2018. I had all these grandiose plans of updates I wanted to make immediately. My pockets and plans didn’t match.
I love flamingos. I don’t know why. I just love them.

I ordered the flamingos from CaliMomDesigns on Etsy. Each flamingo is 6″ tall and approximately 3″ wide. The decals are sold by the sheet. There are 20 flamingo decals per sheet. I purchased a copper, pink and dark blue sheets.
I removed everything from my pantry. I removed any marks on the walls with a Mr. Clean Eraser. It works great on flat paint.
I didn’t know how to remove the wire shelving. I wanted to keep it because the shelving because I wasn’t prepared to pay for a shelving new system. I had to paint around the wall attached pieces; a pain.
I painted my wall with Behr Premium Plus Ultra Interior Semi-Gloss Enamel Ultra Pure White 3750. I didn’t not like this paint. My walls were flat off white; however, it took several coats to cover. I let the paint dry 24 hours between coats.
I marked my spacing with a level. I placed the decals approximately 12″ apart horizontally and each row is about 4″ apart.
Let me start off by saying I am very happy that I completed the NACA process. It was worth the stress and the years removed from my life (exaggerating).
From Naca’s Website
The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (“NACA”) is a non-profit, community advocacy and homeownership organization. NACA’s primary goal is to build strong, healthy neighborhoods in urban and rural areas nationwide through affordable homeownership. NACA has made the dream of homeownership a reality for thousands of working people by counseling them honestly and effectively, enabling even those with poor credit to purchase a home or modify their predatory loan with far better terms than those provided even in the prime market.
Part I: The Workshop
I knew it was time to purchase a home because my rent increased by $80 per month. I owed thousands in income tax (not exaggerating); long story. My ex-manager told me about the Naca program. After a little research, I decided against it due to the horror stories. I put my house dreams to the side due to not have 20% to down payment. I refused to pay PMI. FHA required PMI. NOPE!!!
One day in late-Feb 2017, I woke up and said I am over this apartment life.
I went to Naca.com to find a workshop. It is the first step of the process. In Charlotte, NC the workshops were full for months. I decided to look in cities around Charlotte. I found a workshop Blythewood, SC.
